Career Transition Wisdom #3

When I met with a client of mine recently, he was noticeably more relaxed, spoke more calmly and confidently, looked healthier, and even had a bit of a sun-tanned glow about him. I commented that he seemed to be doing very well, “what’s changed?”

He said that he had started to exercise again and was getting outside more regularly. “It makes such a big difference! I think people tend to underestimate the power in regular physical exercise and getting outdoors. This should top the list of every career coach’s recommendations!” he commented.

I congratulated him on taking action to feel better and making it a priority. I’m certain that the energy he is now bringing to his networking meetings and interviews will make a more positive impression!
